I just purchased this pan set at the goodwill. Did not come with the recipe book. Can you share the banana cream cake recipe?

I don't let go of things until I'm ready either. I used my Doom Room (our guest room), my office, and the basement as my waiting areas. As I am ready, I know and I can let go more easily. You are doing great. Do it in your own way and at your own comfort level.

As a side note, I also found that as I decluttered, if I decluttered hangers I didn't reclutter as much. I didnt feel like there was space that needed filled.

Have you ever heard of Dana K White? She is here on UA-cam, but she has a few things that might be helpful..... things like the container method, your quarantine bins would be a container, so the next time you declutter, if you run out of space you might consider letting go of the stuff in them even if it hasn't been 6 months.... she does recommend a donatable donate box too, so at that point, maybe relocating in a cardboard box with a release date means you don't have to see the item again. Her idea that you wind up feeling the guilt and pull to put stuff back in the closet instead of just donating it after the wait time has proven true multiple times for me. It took me several years to downsize my clothes. I pulled a lot of information from Project 333, and even though I didnt have room to completely remove the excess clothes to a different place it did help see patterns of things I wasnt wearing and be able to let go of them easier. As a for instance, my first pass was clothes that didnt fit, then the second one were clothes I struggled with stuff matching.... that turned into picking a base color and a few accent colors, and I found that I didnt ever wear my blue shoes because I always wore black pants for work.... well, that realization meant I didnt need the navy purse or belts either.... these days I look at what is in my closet when I'm working on laundry. Those are the things that dont get picked first since the ones that do are dirty and getting washed.

Clothes are very hard to declutter... I was only able to start decluttering my closet because I gained weight! You set a big but reasonable goal and you're employing a good strategy as a stepping stone to letting go. It does get easier as you go through each time or maybe that's just me because I'm perimenopausal and can't tolerate anything uncomfortable or polyester!

Oh girl my declutter vids are not like that. I have trouble letting go of certain things 😂😂😂Todays vid was a really good example hahaha. I also still have a lot of clothes after YEARS of slowly decluttering them. I have decided I will always have a lot of clothes. I can get rid of other stuff but I love my clothes.

Girl I did the same thing for years but mine where big totes in garage. Then slowly went throw it each year. I still have 3 Vacuum seal bags I got from dollar tree of clothes that I have that I can't let go of for some reason.. lol. I have been on my decluttering journey for well over 4 years and filming it for about 2 years. Even if this doesn't work for you. It's ok to change it ❤

Sometimes it takes us a little time to let go of items like that, even though they are damaged. I'm so glad you were able to let those things go.
